Linares, Chile—On Sunday, July 14, a significant milestone was reached in Linares, as the cornerstone for the future church building at the Chilean Union headquarters was laid. The ceremony was attended by the Union’s leadership, including President Franck Vitorassi, Vice President Miguel Gonzalez, Treasurer Vanio Santana, and retired Minister Joel Morales.

The event also saw the participation of several local members and representatives from the region’s main churches, reflecting the collective commitment to this long-awaited project.

For over 25 years, efforts have been made to establish a comprehensive headquarters, which, by God’s grace, has seen substantial progress. The facilities already include a multipurpose hall, cafeteria, and accommodations for 100 people.

However, the need for a dedicated space for worship has been keenly felt. With this in mind, the project for the new temple gained momentum, and the laying of the cornerstone marks the first step in bringing this vision to life.

Construction is set to begin soon, and we trust that God will continue to bless His work.
