As you daily sit at the feet of Jesus, and as you accept Him as the Surety of everlasting life, you will experience what cannot be described in words-a new birth.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

“When we submit ourselves to Christ, the heart is united with His heart, the will is merged in His will, the mind becomes one with His mind, the thoughts are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be clothed with the garment of His righteousness.”-Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 312.

As you submit to His control, the Saviour will take your thoughts and actions away from this world. And while others may not understand your experience, you will begin to see that you no longer live for self, but for Him who gave His all for you. This is the mystery which the world in sin cannot understand. But this can be understood by those, “to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
